EGS Australia have taken possession of a brand new Kongsberg EM304 deep water MBES system. This system can be fitted to vessels of opportunity by divers or on the slip and is capable of high resolution seabed mapping in up to 8000 metres water depth.

EGS Australia have taken possession of the Datem 3000 Cone Penetration Tester which will serve on Geotechnical projects all around Australia including the up coming Project Highclere Fibre Optic Cable Route Survey.

EGS Australia successfully completed a 3D photogrammetry topographical survey and multibeam echo sounder hydrographic survey to provide a baseline for the future monitoring of breakwaters and harbour rock walls in Geraldton. 3D photogrammetry data was acquired using an aerial drone. Hydrographic survey was conducted using EGS’s survey vessel the Independence.
